About CCS Finishing

CCS Finishing is a family-owned group of companies with more than a century of expertise in the metal finishing industry. Our legacy began in 1901, when Manly Simmons founded a sign company specializing in the application of paint to metal. That entrepreneurial spirit continued into the mid-20th century, when Charles Curtis Simmons revolutionized the field by pioneering the electrostatic painting process—expanding our focus from signage to high-volume industrial finishing.
Today, the CCS Finishing Group includes Enameled Steel, Midwestern Rust Proof, and Arlington Plating Company—each bringing unique strengths under one shared mission: to deliver excellence in metal finishing.

With an unwavering commitment to our customers, dedication to quality, and a focus on the growth and well-being of our team, we continually invest in our people, facilities, and capabilities to support long-term success.
We serve a broad range of industries including automotive, motorcycle, heavy truck, consumer products, aerospace, spring, agriculture, and commercial goods—offering corrosion protection, decorative plating, and advanced surface treatments tailored to meet the demands of global manufacturers and OEMs.

What sets CCS Finishing apart is our foundation: built on innovation, integrity, and a hands-on legacy of craftsmanship. We are proud of where we’ve come from, and even more focused on where we’re going. Through continued investment in technology, sustainability, and talent, we remain true to our values while helping our customers stay ahead in a competitive marketplace.
